Based on selfie, Micromax has launched its new smartphone, dubbed as Canvas Selfie Lens (Q345). The handset comes with a price Rs. 8299 (US $131) and goes on sell in its homeland India.

The main highlight of the smartphone is its 5 Mega Pixel front-facing camera that is build of Largan Lens and OV Sensors. Other than that, it is also equipped with an 8-megapixel rear camera, that is build with Largan Lens and Sony Sensors.

In terms of specs, the Micromax Canvas Selfie Lens Q345 comes powered by a 1.3GHz Quad core (M6582) processor and is coupled with 1GB of DDR3 RAM. It has a 5-inch IPS HD touchscreen display with 1280X720 pixels of resolution. The built-in 8GB storage can expanded with up to 32 GB of microSD card.

Connectivity options include in the Micromax Canvas Selfie Lens Q345 are 3G HSPA, FM Radio, WiFi, Bluetooth, micro-USB, Mobile hotspot, GPS/AGPS and 3.5mm audio jack. The dual SIM (WCDMA+GSM) handset supports dual standby mode.

The device is backed by a 2800mAh Li-Ion battery, that is according to the company can provide talk-time up to 9 hrs and can be in standby mode up to 374 hrs. It comes with pre-loaded apps like App centre, Chaatz, Clean master, Hotstar, housing, Mannons, Newshunt,Quickr, scandid, snapdeal and swiftkey ; while the Canvas Selfie Lens Q345 smartphone runs on Android Lollipop v5.0.
