Oppo has already launched its R7 Plus smartphone in India alongside the R7 Lite. The firm has now introduced the high-end variant of the R7 Plus phablet for in China.
The Oppo R7 Plus can be booked from the company website for now, however the official launch is scheduled for later this month. The China Unicom version of Oppo R7 Plus high-end variant is priced at CNY 2,999 (US $465 / Rs. 31,100), while the international model cost you CNY 3,299 (US $512 / Rs. 34,300).
The Oppo R7 Plus high-end variant comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt-storage, compared to 3GB RAM and 32GB built-in store is original. The rest of the specifications remain the same.
The dual-SIM phablet features a fingerprint sensor placed on its rear panel, and is running on Android 5.1 Lollipop-based ColorOS 2.1. It sports a 6-inch full-HD Amoled display and is backed by a 4100mAh non-removable battery. Inbuilt storage can be expanded via microSD card (up to 128GB) using the hybrid Nano-SIM card slots.
The Oppo R7 Plus packs a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 MSM8939 (quad-core 1.5GHz Cortex-A53 + quad-core 1GHz Cortex-A53) processor; however, the China Unicom version packs an octa-core MediaTek MT6795 SoC. It sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and Isocell image sensor technology, while there is also an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.4 aperture.
The R7 Plus measures 158 x 82 x 7.75 mm and weighs 182 grams. It features VOOC flash charging technology. The handset battery is rated to deliver two hours of talk time in five minutes of charging, and battery can be charged by 75 percent in just 30 minutes.
