Boost Mobile, one of the Sprint’s prepaid brands, has launched a new smartphone in the U.S., dubbed as LG Tribute 5. The Tribute 5 is basically just the recently announced K7 with a different name. LG says, the new K series is supposed to bring decent design and specs to very low price points.
The Tribute 5 comes with a 5-inch FWVGA IPS (480 x 854 pixels) touchscreen and is powered by a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 210 chipset, coupled with 1.1GHz quad-core processor. It has both side 5 MP sensor. The phone feature 1GB of RAM and also 8GB of expandable internal storage. Apart from 4G LTE connectivity, the smartphone packs a 2,125 mAh battery and runs on now-dated Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.
The LG Tribute 5 can be purchased from Boost Mobile for only $99.99, and since this is a prepaid carrier there’s no need to sign a long-term contract. You can go with a plan that gives you unlimited talk and text as well as at least 2GB of data, starting at $30 per month.
