Huawei G8 was recently spotted at TENNA. Now, the firm has officially announced in China with a starting price USD 370.

The Huawei G8 features a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display with 1920 x 1080 pixels of resolution that calculates to a pixel density of 401ppi. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 64-bit processor along with Adreno 405 GPU.

The handset comes in two variant : 2GB RAM with 16GB ROM and 3G RAM with 32GB storage. Both the models storage is up-gradable with up to 64GB of microSD card. Lower version is priced at US $370, while for high-end you have to invest US $434.

The Huawei G8 smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box with Emotion UI on top of it. In terms of camera, it rocks a 13 megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and PureCel sensor. There is also a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It equips a fingerprint scanner at the back below the main camera.

On the connectivity front, the G8 comes with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It packs a 3,000 mAh battery.

The Huawei G8 will be available in White, Black and Gold colour variants. The handset is presently available in China only, there is no word on global launch yet.

Huawei has recently launched Honor 4A in China as well. It comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 , 2GB RAM and Adreno 304 GPU.
