HTC has unveiled a new smartphone in Chinese market, dubbed as One M9e. It is priced at 2699 Yuan ( U$ 425 / Rs. 27,660) and is available for purchase in China from Tmall, in Gold, Gunmetal Grey and Silver colors.
The new HTC One M9e smartphone has a unibody metal build, supports 4G LTE and is equipped with single nano SIM slot. It could come with dual SIM support depending on the market. A dual-SIM variant model is also expected in another market.
The handset offers a 5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) touchscreen and is powered by a 2.2 GHz MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795T) Octa-Core 64-bit processor with PowerVR G6200 GPU, alongside 2GB of RAM. It includes 16GB of internal storage and can be expanded up to 2TB with microSD. The smartphone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC Sense UI on the top.
The One M93 houses a 13MP rear camera with dual LED flash, 27.8mm lens, f/2.2 aperture and supports 4K video recording. There is an Ultrapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, 26.8mm lens and 1080p video recording support is also available for selfies / video calling. It has dual front-facing BoomSound speakers with Dolby audio tech. Its dimensions are 144.6 × 69.7 × 9.61 mm and weight is 157 gms. It has connectivity options like 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, NFC and GPS with GLONASS. It packs a 2840mAh battery.
